Born in Milan, 1973.
Graduated in Interior Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in 1997.
Between 1996 and 1998, I was a trainee at Andrea Branzi’s Design Office in Milan, where I actively contributed to both interior and industrial design projects. In 1995 I started a decades-long and still ongoing collaboration with Starhotels, the Italian group owner of 29 luxury hotels in all major Italian destinations as well as in Paris, London, New York, Rome, Monte Carlo and Miami.
I am presently the brand’s main general design consultant and art director, working both on design and building whilst also curating each room’s layout and all furnishings and finishes. I also take care of the selection of all materials and accessories and I design all customised items.
In my Milan studio, my team and I work on a wide portfolio of projects, thus expanding our expertise well beyond hotel design, also creating workspaces, private homes and showrooms.
The most recent chapter of my career and creative pursuit is Silorian, a brand and showcase of home products featuring an original series of hand-painted motifs of butterflies, monkeys, beetles, parrots and more. A quirky menagerie reproduced on a variety of objects and materials to create fun and function in any space.
